SIPS-airbags (zij-airbags)

Kinderzitjes en SIPS-airbags

De SIPS-airbags beïnvloeden de bescher-

mende werking van kinderzitje en/of comfort-

kussen niet negatief.

WAARSCHUWING

•

Volvo adviseert u de reparatie uitslui-

tend door een erkende Volvo-werk-

plaats te laten uitvoeren. Een ver-

keerde ingreep in het SIPS-systeem

kan tot een onjuiste werking leiden

met ernstig letsel als gevolg.

•

Plaats geen voorwerpen in het gebied

tussen de buitenzijde van de stoel en

het portierpaneel, aangezien dit gebied

door de zijairbag kan worden beïn-

vloed.

•

Volvo adviseert om uitsluitend door

Volvo goedgekeurde overtrekbekle-

ding te gebruiken. Andere bekleding

kan de werking van de zijairbags hin-

deren.

•

De zijairbag vormt een aanvulling op

de veiligheidsgordel. Gebruik de veilig-

heidsgordel altijd.
