Kraftstoff - Benzin
Benzin wird als Kraftstoff für den Motor ver-
wendet.
Benzin muss die Norm EN 228 erfüllen. Die
meisten Motoren können mit Kraftstoff mit
den Oktanzahlen 95 und 98 RON gefahren
werden. AusschlieΤlich in Ausnahmefällen
sollte 91 RON genutzt werden.

95 RON eignet sich bei normaler Bean-
spruchung des Fahrzeugs.
•
Für maximale Leistung und Wirtschaft-
lichkeit wird 98 RON empfohlen.
Für die bestmögliche Leistung und einen opti-
malen Kraftstoffverbrauch wird für die Fahrt
bei AuΤentemperaturen über +38 °C die
höchstmögliche Oktanzahl empfohlen.

Nur bleifreies Benzin verwenden, um
den Katalysator nicht zu beschädigen.

Dem Kraftstoff ausschlieΤlich Additive
hinzugeben, die von Volvo empfohlen
wurden.

Kraftstoff - Diesel
Diesel wird als Kraftstoff für den Motor ver-
wendet.
Tanken Sie ausschlieΤlich Marken-Diesel-
kraftstoff. Verzichten Sie grundsätzlich auf
Dieselkraftstoff unbekannter Qualität. Diesel
sollte der Norm EN 590 oder JIS K2204 ent-
sprechen. Dieselmotoren sind gegenüber Ver-
unreinigungen im Kraftstoff, wie einem zu
hohen Schwefelpartikelanteil empfindlich.
Der Dieselkraftstoff kann bei niedrigen Tem-
peraturen (–6 °C bis –40 °C) Paraffin aus-
scheiden. Dies kann zu Startproblemen füh-
ren. Die gröΤeren Mineralölkonzerne bieten
überdies speziellen Dieselkraftstoff für Tem-
peraturen um den Gefrierpunkt an. Dieser ist
bei niedrigen Temperaturen leichtflüssiger
und verringert die Gefahr von Wachsbildung
in der Kraftstoffanlage.
Wenn der Tank immer gut gefüllt gehalten
wird, verringert sich die Gefahr, dass sich
dort Kondenswasser bildet. Beim Tanken
darauf achten, dass der Bereich um das Ein-
füllrohr sauber ist. Kraftstoffspritzer auf dem
Lack vermeiden. und ggf. mit Wasser und
Seife entfernen.
