Let op het volgende, voordat u met de
werkzaamheden begint:
Accu
· Zorg dat de accukabels op de juiste manier zijn aangesloten en stevig
vastzitten.
· Ontkoppel de accu nooit, wanneer de motor draait (bij het vervangen
van de accu).
· Gebruik nooit een snellader voor het opladen van de accu. Zorg dat de
accukabels zijn ontkoppeld tijdens het opladen.
Milieuzorg
De accu bevat een zuur dat zowel giftig als corrosief is. Het is om die
reden van belang dat u de accu op een milieuvriendelijke manier hanteert.
Neem hiervoor contact op met uw Volvo-dealer.
Omhoogbrengen van de auto
Als u de auto met een garagekrik omhoogbrengt, moet u de krik tegen de
voorzijde van de motordraagarm aanbrengen. Zorg dat de spatplaat onder
de motor niet beschadigd raakt. Let erop dat u de krik dusdanig aanbrengt,
dat de auto er niet vanaf kan glijden. Maak altijd gebruik van steunbokken
of vergelijkbare hulpmiddelen.
Als u de auto met een tweekoloms hefbrug omhoogbrengt, moet u zorgen
dat de voorste en achterste dragerarmen onder de hefpunten bij de
drempelkokers komen te zitten. Zie afbeelding.
WAARSCHUWING!
Het ontstekingssysteem van de auto wekt zeer hoge spanningen op!
De spanning van het ontstekingssysteem is levensgevaarlijk!
Raak bougies, bougiekabels of bobines niet aan, wanneer de motor
draait of het contact is ingeschakeld!
Zet contact af bij:
· het aansluiten van motortestapparatuur;
· het vervangen van onderdelen van het ontstekingssysteem zoals
de bougies, de bobine, de verdelerkap, de bougiekabels e.d.
