Motorolie - controleren en bijvullen

Aanpassing van het motoroliepeil is niet nodig
voordat er een melding op het bestuurdersdisplay
verschijnt, zie volgende afbeelding.

Motoroliepeil
Wanneer de motor afgezet is, kunt u het duimwiel
gebruiken om het oliepeil te laten controleren
door de elektronische oliepeilsensor, zie Menu-
functies - instrumentenpaneel (p. 119).
WAARSCHUWING
Bij het verschijnen van de melding
Olieservice vereist moet u een werkplaats
opzoeken – geadviseerd wordt een erkende
Volvo-werkplaats. Het oliepeil is mogelijk te
hoog.
BELANGRIJK
Vul bij het verschijnen van de melding
Oliepeil laag 0,5 liter bijvullen slechts
0,5 liter bij.
WAARSCHUWING
Vul niet meer olie bij, als niveau (3) of (4) ver-
schijnt zoals aangegeven op de afbeelding.
De olie mag nooit boven MAX of onder MIN
staan om motorschade tegen te gaan.
N.B.
Het systeem registreert het oliepeil alleen,
wanneer aan bepaalde voorwaarden is vol-
daan. Na het bijvullen of aftappen van olie kan
het dan ook even duren voordat het systeem
wijzigingen in het oliepeil kan waarnemen. In
bepaalde omstandigheden moet u eerst
ca. 30 km op de verbrandingsmotor hebben
afgelegd.
WAARSCHUWING
Mors geen olie op de hete uitlaatspruitstuk-
ken, aangezien er dan brand kan ontstaat.
