Brandstof tanken
De brandstoftank is voorzien van een doploos
tanksysteem.
Tanken bij een tankstation
U tankt als volgt brandstof.
1. Schakel de auto uit en open de tankvulklep.
N.B.
Na het openen van de tankvulklep moet er
binnen zo'n tien minuten worden getankt. Na
tien minuten sluit namelijk de afsluiter die bij
bediening van de knop werd geopend, zodat
het vulpistool afslaat en er niet meer kan wor-
den getankt.
Als de afsluiter mocht sluiten voordat u klaar
bent met tanken, druk dan opnieuw op de
knop en wacht totdat de melding
Brandstoftank Klaar voor tanken op het
bestuurdersdisplay verschijnt.
2. Kies een brandstof die is goedgekeurd voor
gebruik in de auto op basis van de aandui-
ding

aan de binnenkant van de tankvulklep.
Zie de informatie over goedgekeurde brand-
stofsoorten en hun aanduidingen in het arti-
kel "Benzine".
3. Steek het mondstuk van het vulpistool in de
brandstofvulopening. De vulpijp heeft twee
afdekkingen die te openen zijn. Zorg dat u
het mondstuk van het vulpistool langs de
beide afdekkingen hebt gestoken, voordat u
begint met tanken.
4. Giet de tank niet te vol door het vulpistool na
de eerste afslag uit de vulopening te halen.
> De tank is vol.
N.B.
Een overvolle tank kan bij warm weer over-
stromen.
Brandstof bijvullen via een jerrycan
Gebruik voor het bijvullen van brandstof met een
jerrycan de trechter die in het blok schuimrubber
onder het vloerluik in de bagageruimte ligt.
1. Open de tankvulklep.
2. Steek de trechter in de brandstofvulopening.
De vulpijp heeft twee afdekkingen die te
openen zijn. Zorg dat u de trechterbuis langs
de beide afdekkingen hebt gestoken, voordat
u begint met tanken.
Geldt voor een auto met verwarming op
brandstof*
Gebruik de verwarming op brandstof nooit, wan-
neer de auto bij een tankstation staat.

De aanduiding conform de CEN-norm EN16942 zit aan de binnenkant van de tankklep en uiterlijk eind 2018 ook op de desbetreffende brandstofpompen en vulpistolen bij tankstations in heel Europa.
