Adaptiver Tempomat* - Fehlersuche
und Behebung
Wenn auf dem Kombinationsinstrument die
Mitteilung
Radar gestört Siehe Handbuch
erscheint, kann der Radarsensor (S. 217) des
adaptiven Tempomaten vorausfahrende Fahr-
zeuge nicht erfassen.
Die Mitteilung bedeutet, dass weder die
Abstandswarnung (S. 223) noch das Unfall-
warnsystem mit Bremsautomatik (S. 233)
funktionieren.
Der folgenden Tabelle sind Beispiele für mög-
liche Ursachen für die Anzeige der Mitteilung
sowie geeignete MaΤnahmen zu entnehmen:
Ursache Maßnahme
Die Radaroberfläche im Grill ist schmutzig oder mit Eis oder Schnee
bedeckt.
Die Radaroberfläche im Grill von Schmutz, Eis und Schnee befreien.
Kräftiger Regen oder Schnee blockieren die Radarsignale. Keine MaΤnahme. Manchmal funktioniert der Radar bei kräftigem Nieder-
schlag nicht.
Wasser oder Schnee wirbeln von der Fahrbahn auf und blockieren
die Radarsignale.
Keine MaΤnahme. Manchmal funktioniert der Radar bei nasser oder ver-
schneiter Fahrbahn nicht.
Die Radaroberfläche ist gereinigt, die Mitteilung wird jedoch weiter-
hin angezeigt.
Kurz warten. Es kann einige Minuten dauern, bis der Radar erfasst, dass
er nicht mehr blockiert ist.
