Anhängerstabilisator* – TSA

Die Funktion des Stabilitätssensors (S. 336)
für Anhänger besteht darin, Fahrzeuge mit
angekuppeltem Anhänger in Situationen zu
stabilisieren, in denen das Gespann in eine
Pendelbewegung gerät. Für weitere Informati-
onen siehe Fahren mit Anhänger* (S. 329).
ACHTUNG
Die Funktion wird deaktiviert, wenn der
Fahrer den Sport-Modus wählt.

Wahl der Stufe – Sport-Modus
Das ESC-System ist immer aktiviert – es kann
nicht ausgeschaltet werden.
Der Fahrer kann jedoch den
Sport-Modus wählen, mit
dem ein aktiveres Fahrerleb-
nis möglich ist.
Sport-Modus im Menüsys-
tem MY CAR wählen. Mehr
zur Beschreibung des Menüsystems siehe
MY CAR (S. 116).
Im Sport-Modus erfasst das System, ob Gas-
pedal, Lenkradbewegungen und Kurvenfahrt
aktiver sind als beim normalen Fahren und
lässt dann ein kontrolliertes Ausbrechen des
Hecks bis zu einem bestimmten Niveau zu,
bevor es eingreift und das Fahrzeug stabili-
siert.
Wenn der Fahrer z. B. ein kontrolliertes Aus-
brechen abbricht, indem er das Gaspedal los-
lässt, greift das ESC-System ein und stabili-
siert das Fahrzeug.
Im Sport-Modus wird maximale Traktion
auch dann erreicht, wenn das Fahrzeug fest-
gefahren ist oder auf losem Untergrund fährt
– z. B. in Sand oder tiefem Schnee.
Der Sport-Modus wird auf dem
Kombinationsinstrument angezeigt,
indem dieses Symbol leuchtet, bis
der Fahrer die Funktion wieder
deaktiviert oder der Motor abgestellt wird –
nach dem nächsten Motorstart befindet sich
das ESC-System wieder im Normalmodus.
