schlieΤlich von einer Volvo-Vertrags-
werkstatt vornehmen zu lassen. Bei
falschem Eingriff in das SIPS-Airbag-
System drohen Fehlfunktionen mit
schweren Verletzungen zur Folge.

Keine Gegenstände im Bereich zwi-
schen der AuΤenkante des Sitzes und
der Türverkleidung ablegen, da der
Seitenairbag auf diesen Bereich ein-
wirken kann.
•
Wir empfehlen, ausschlieΤlich von
Volvo zugelassene Schonbezüge zu
verwenden. Andere Schonbezüge kön-
nen die Funktion der Seitenairbags
beeinträchtigen.
•
Der Seitenairbag ist eine Ergänzung
des Sicherheitsgurtes. Der Sicherheits-
gurt ist stets anzulegen.

auf die schützenden Eigenschaften des Kin-
dersitzes oder des Sitzkissens (S. 38).
Ein Kindersitz/Sitzkissen (S. 47) kann auf
dem Vordersitz angebracht werden, wenn
das Fahrzeug nicht mit einem aktivierten Bei-
fahrerairbag (S. 37) ausgestattet ist.
