To turn off this function, press the MAX/MIN (View/) button for approx. 2 s.
The MAX/MIN function is not available in all measuring functions.
16. LOW IMP. 400 K FUNCTION
This function may only be used for voltages of a max. of 1000 V and a max. of 3
seconds!
This function allows the reduction of the measuring impedance from 10 M to 400 k in the voltage
measuring range. Reducing the measuring impedance suppresses possible phantom voltages which
could falsify the measuring result.
Press the
-button (9) during the voltage measurement (max. 1000 V!) for a max. 3 seconds. After
release, the multimeter has the normal measuring impedance of 10 M. While the button is pressed,
a signal sounds and
appears on the display.
17. COMPARISON MODE (COMP MODE)
In the comparative measurement, once an upper and lower limit of the current measured parameter
is set, the main display will show only the actual status of the current measured value compared to
the preset range limit.
Proceed as follows to set the limit values for comparison mode:
1. Turn on the DMM and select the appropriate measurement range.
2. Insert the test leads into the correct measuring sockets.
3. Hold down the SHIFT/SETUP button (3) for approx. 2 s.
will appear on the display. You
are now in SHIFT mode.
4. Hold down the SHIFT/SETUP button again for approx. 2 s to enter the SETUP menu.
5. To set the upper limit for the comparison mode, press the SHIFT/SETUP button until the menu
item “COMP MAX” is selected. An asterisk symbol * to the left of the menu item shows that the
menu item is selected.
6. You can now select the individual number of digits using the REL/PC (Log/) and MAX/MIN
(View/) buttons and change their values with the H/LIGHT (+/COMP) or RANGE (-) button.

1. Allumez le DDM et sélectionnez la plage de mesure «

2. Insérez le cordon de mesure rouge dans la douille de mesure
°CHzV (7), le cordon de mesure noir dans la douille de
mesure COM (8) (Fig. 8).
3. L’écran affi che l’unité « nF ».
En raison de l’entrée de mesure sensible, une valeur peut
s’affi cher à l’écran lors de cordons de mesure « ouverts ».
En appuyant sur la touche REL/PC (Log/) (10c), l’écran
est réglé sur « 0 ». La valeur de base (différence relative)
est affi chée à côté du symbole delta
. La fonction
Autorange est désactivée.
4. Reliez à présent les deux pointes de sonde (rouge = pôle
positif / noir = pôle négatif) à l’objet à mesurer (condensateur).
À l’écran, la capacité s’affi che rapidement. Attendez que
la valeur affi chée se soit stabilisée. En cas de capacités
>400 F, cela peut durer quelques secondes.

5. L´affi chage « OL » (pour Overload = dépassement) à l´écran indique que vous avez dépassé la
plage de mesure.
6. À la fi n de la mesure, retirez les cordons de mesure de l’objet à mesurer et éteignez le DMM.
