Apart from the current measurement function, the device alsohas the traditional
functions of a multimeter such as voltage, resistance, capacity and temperature
measurement function.
The VC-530 is suitable for alternating current measurements of up to 1000 A
The VC-531 is suitable for direct and alternating current measurements of up to
1000 A.
Rotary switch (5)
The individual measuring functions are selected using a rotary switch for which
„auto range“, the automatic range selection, is active. The appropriate range of
measurement is set for each application individually.
With the „MODE“ (7) key, you can switch to a sub-function if the measurement
function isoccupiedtwice (e.g. switching of resistancemeasurementdiodetest and
continuity check(VC-531 only) or AC/DC switchingin the voltagearea).
If therotary switchis set to„OFF“, themeasuring device isswitched off. Alwaysturn
the measuring device off when it is not in use.
Prior toworkingwiththemeasuringdevice, youhavetoinserttheenclosedbatter-
ies.
Insertthe batteriesas describedin thechapter „Cleaningand Maintenance“.A9V
block battery is required for voltage supply. These are supplied with the device.
