Safety instructions
In case of damage due to disregard of this operating
manual every guarantee claim will expire. In case of
material damage or injuries due to improper hand-
ling or disregard of this operating manual,
respectively of the safety instructions which are in it
we will not take liability. In cases like that every
guarantee claim will expire.
• for reasons of safety and permission (CE) you are not permitted to
change and/or modify the cable tester on your own.
• please contact trained personnel if you doubt the the operation,
the safety or the connection of the device.
• as voltage supply only a 9 V block battery may be used.
• avoid heavy mechanical stress as well as high temperatures,
heavy vibrations or high humidity.
This may damage the cable tester CT-2.
• Don’t ever turn on the cable tester immediately after bringing it,
from a cold into a warm room. The emerging condensation may
destroy the tester under circumstances. Let the device reach
room temperature while not connected to electricity and wait until
any condensation has evaporated.
• do not leave the packaging material lay around. Plastic foils/bags
styrofoam parts, and the like can become a dangerous toy for
children.
• the cable tester CT-5 does not belong into children’s hands. It is
no toy.
• in commercial institutions the accident prevention directions of
the professional trade association for electrical systems and
means of operation have to be followed.
