NFC 10.1.7
(1)
Near Field Communication (NFC) is a new, short-range wireless connectivity
technology which allows mobile users to read and write NFC tags, pair with
other NFC devices, and even make fast and secure mobile payments. With
NFC activated, you can use this application to open, act on and organize the
tags you've scanned.
To access this function, touch the Application tab from Home screen, then
select NFC Task Launcher.
Your new Vodafone Smartphone comes with built-in Near Field Communication
(or NFC for short), which can make your life easier.
With just one tap against an NFC-enabled sticker (we call them ‘Tags’), your
phone will instantly perform a pre-programmed action or set of actions – such
as starting an app, switching on Wi-Fi, or even checking in to Facebook.
There are two free pre-programmable stickers included here to start you off.
