11.1.8 VPN-instellingen
Een mobiel virtueel privénetwerk (mobiel VPN of mVPN) voorziet
mobiele apparaten van toegang tot netwerkbronnen en software-
applicaties in hun thuisnetwerk, wanneer ze verbinding maken via
andere draadloze of bedrade netwerken. Mobiele VPN's worden
gebruikt in omgevingen waarin werknemers applicatiesessies
altijd en gedurende de hele werkdag open moeten houden,
terwijl de gebruiker verbinding maakt via verschillende draadloze
netwerken, gaten in de dekking tegenkomt of zijn apparaten
uitschakelt en weer inschakelt om de levensduur van de accu te
verlengen. Een conventionele VPN kan dergelijke gebeurtenissen
niet doorstaan, omdat de netwerktunnel wordt verstoord,
waardoor de verbinding van applicaties kan worden verbroken,
er een time-out of storing kan optreden of het apparaat zelf kan
crashen.

11.1.9 Tethering en draagbare hotspot
Met deze functie kunt u de mobiele dataverbinding van uw
telefoon delen via USB of als draagbaar Wi-Fi-toegangspunt (zie
6.5 De mobiele dataverbinding van uw telefoon delen).
11.1.10 Mobiele netwerken
• Dataverbinding
Raak dit aan om de dataverbinding in of uit te schakelen.
• Data-roaming
Schakel het selectievakje in om tijdens roaming verbinding te
maken met dataservices.
• Netwerkmodus
Raak dit aan om de netwerkmodus te selecteren.
• Toegangspuntnamen
Met dit menu kunt u uw voorkeursnetwerk selecteren.
• Mobiele providers
Raak dit aan om een netwerkprovider te selecteren.
11.1.11 Internet via USB
Schakel het selectievakje in om internet op een Windows-pc via
een USB-kabel te delen.
1 Sluit uw telefoon met een USB-kabel aan op uw computer.
2 Selecteer de systeemversie van uw pc en raak Volgende aan.
3 Voltooi de verbinding zoals aangegeven en raak Gereed aan.
11.2 Apparaat
11.2.1 Geluid
Gebruik de geluidsinstellingen om beltonen te configureren voor
verschillende gebeurtenissen en omgevingen.
VOLUME
• Trillen
Schakel het selectievakje in om de telefoon
te laten trillen voor inkomende oproepen.
• Stille modus
Schakel het selectievakje in om alle
geluiden behalve media en alarmen te
dempen.
• Beltoon en
meldingen
Schuif om het volume aan te passen van de
beltoon, meldingen en het systeem.
• Muziek, video,
games en
andere media
Schuif om het multimediavolume aan
te passen van muziek, video's, games,
enzovoort.
• Alarmen
Schuif om het beltoonvolume van alarmen
aan te passen.
