uitgevoerd bij maximaal stroomverbruik; de werkelijke SAR-waarde van de telefoon
in gebruik ligt dan ook meestal veel lager dan de maximumwaarde.
De telefoon is ontworpen om te functioneren met het minimale stroomverbruik dat
nodig is om verbinding te maken met het netwerk. Algemeen geldt dat het
stroomverbruik van de telefoon bij het zenden daalt naarmate u zich dichter bij het
basisstation bevindt.
Validering van de conformiteit met de Europese richtlijn 99/5/EG (richtlijn betreffende
radioapparatuur en telecommunicatie-eindapparatuur) is noodzakelijk voor een
telefoonmodel op de markt mag worden geïntroduceerd. Deze richtlijn stelt strikte
eisen inzake de bescherming van de gezondheid en veiligheid van het publiek en de
gebruiker. Dit model werd getest voor gebruik bij het oor en de maximale gemeten
SAR-waarde bedroeg 1,0 W/kg. Hoewel er verschillen kunnen zijn tussen
verschillende telefoontoestellen en bij verschillende posities, voldoen alle telefoons
aan de Europese regels.
Advies om de blootstelling aan radiofrequentievelden (RF) te beperken
De Wereldgezondheidsorganisatie (WHO) adviseert het volgende aan personen die
blootstelling aan RF-velden willen beperken.
Voorzorgsmaatregelen: Actuele wetenschappelijke gegevens geven geen indicaties
dat speciale voorzorgsmaatregelen voor het gebruik van mobiele telefoons nodig
zijn. Personen die zich zorgen maken kunnen blootstelling aan RF voor zichzelf of
voor hun kinderen beperken door de duur van de oproepen te beperken of door
handsfree-uitrusting te gebruiken, zodat de telefoon verwijderd blijft van het hoofd en

watt/kilogram (2 W/kg) per 10 g weefsel. Deze waarde omvat een ruime
veiligheidsmarge om de veiligheid te vergroten en om rekening te houden met
metingsverschillen. Informatie over SAR kan verschillen in verschillende landen,
afhankelijk van nationale vereisten en de frequentiebanden die door het netwerk
worden gebruikt.
