5.3 Using Fisheye Setup

The fisheye setup is available only for fisheye cameras, providing access to features specific to this

type of camera.

You can configure the Mount and View types.

5.3.1 Setting the Mount Type in the Fisheye Setup Mode

Select the mount type—Ceiling, Wall, or Floor—that matches the installed location of the fisheye

camera. Each option provides view angles and image formats suited for particular monitoring

applications. For example, the Wall mount type produces a elongated rectangular field of view

suited for monitoring a long corridor or similar environment.

5.3.2 Setting the View Type in the Fisheye Setup Mode

1O denotes the native oval view. Note that you cannot access the ePTZ feature in this view.

1R denotes the regional view. You can use the ePTZ feature, and use swipe and pinch gestures to

move to a different area of the view, or zoom in on or out of a specific region.

1P denotes the panoramic view, which displays a continuous ribbon-like view. You can move

through the view horizontally by swiping.
