Take the batteries out of the remote control when they are discharged or if the device
is not going to be used for a prolonged period. This will prevent any damage that
might occur if a battery leaks.
Should a battery have leaked, do not allow your skin, eyes and mucous membranes
to come into contact with the battery acid. If you touch battery acid, rinse the affected
sites with abundant fresh water immediately and contact a doctor as soon as possi-
ble.
Remove dead batteries from the remote control immediately. Clean the contacts be-
fore you insert a new battery.
Batteries must not be recharged or reactivated by other means, dismantled, thrown
into a re, immersed in uids, or short-circuited.
Avoiding Damage to Material, Property and the Device
The maximum loading capacity for the device is 120 kg. Do not exceed this so that
you do not damage the device.
Protect sensitive oor coverings on which the device is placed with a mat.
Always check the device and accessories for damage before putting them into op-
eration. If the device, the mains cable or the remote control shows visible signs of
damage, the device must not be used.
Do not drop the device or allow it to be knocked violently.
Do not use the device if it has malfunctioned, been dropped or fallen into water. Have
the device checked by a specialist before you start using it.
Maintain a suf cient distance from heat sources such as radiators, replaces or ov-
ens in order not to damage the device.
Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, wide temperature uctuations,
open re, direct sunlight, moisture or wet conditions.
Only the accessory parts supplied by the manufacturer should be used. If accessory
parts which are not authorised by the manufacturer are used, all warranty and guar-
antee claims are void.
