5. Headphone
Foldable Headphones (1)
The vision system has two infrared headphones. You
can flip the headset (shown above) when you do not
need it.
Volume (2)
Used for adjusting the volume.
On/Off (3)
The headphones can be switched on and off by pres-
sing the power button.
Note:
When the headphone no longer receives audio signal
(outside range of the infrared transmitter or the vision
system is disabled), the headphones turn off after
about 20 seconds to conserve battery power.
A/B (4)
To select the audio channel. The headset has two chan-
nels (A and B). The A and B levels are connect to the
IR1=A and IR2=B off the monitor (see page 3) With the
switch on the headphones the audio is switched from
the left and right monitor.
Factory settings are set that the passenger side has
channel A and the drivers side is channel B.
Note:
For a good reception of the audio signal, no objects
may stand between the headphones and the IR trans-
mitter. Direct sunlight on the headphones can give
sound disturbances.
Battery life
The battery life depends on the quality of these bat-
teries. On average they should last for about 20-30
hours. If the batteries are running low, there may be
malfunctions in the automatic shut down and/or pro-
blems with sound.
Battery replacement
Press the release button on the right side of the
headphones. Flip the battery cover up. Replace the
batteries. Keep in mind that the terminals(+) and (-) are
in the right direction. Close the lid
Note:
If the headphones will not be used for a longer time,
we recommend to remove the batteries from the
headset (so they do not leak).
Batteries headphone
DC +3V (2 x 1,5V AAA-battery)
6. General operating
The Vision system can only be enabled when the
ignition is on and the battery voltage exceeds 12 V.
Do not use the system when the ignition is on stand 2
because the battery voltage is than below 12 V. Start
the engine than turn on the system.
Last memory
he DVD player has a resume function where the posi-
tion of the DVD is stored in the memory at turning
off the system. This function is activated by the DVD
player pushing one time the off button on the remote
control (red button). Hereafter the function has been
activated.
Note:
Not all DVD discs accept the resume function.
Auto play
Some DVDs are programmed with an auto play func-
tion. The auto play function in the 1st setup menu of
the DVD player must be switched off. The setup menu
is activated by pressing the setup button on remote
control.
Note:
Frequently Disney DVD’s are provided with a program-
med auto play function.
