Storage
The storage room should be
dry and be free of dust. The
mower should also be stored
out of reach of children.
Any appliance faults must be
remedied prior to storage in
order to maintain a safe
operating condition.

Environmental
protection
Lawn cuttings should
be turned into
compost or mulch
and should not be disposed
of with the household waste.
The appliance, its packaging
and accessories are all
produced from recyclable
materials and must be
disposed of accordingly.
By disposing of materials
separately, and in an
environmentally-friendly
manner, valuable resources
can be re-used.

With the 40 M mulching kit
and the 45 MS mulching kit,
the lawn mower models
MB 400, MB 450 and
MB 455/ E/ C/ BC can be
converted into mulching
mowers.
The 40 M mulching kit and the
45 MS mulching kit are only
available from your VIKING
dealer and can be used for
the following models.

MB 450, MB 455/ E/ C/ BC
Electric starting device
model MB 455 E
The battery should be dis-
connected from the lawn
mower during the winter
period or during long periods
of non-use.
It is recommended that the
battery is stored in a dry
location, at a temperature
of +5° C to 23° C.
The battery must be fully
charged before the onset of
the winter period.
Observe the battery manu-
facturer's instructions.
