wurde, beginnt das Gerät mit dem normalen Ladevorgang.
2.6 Ladevorgang mit Temperaturausgleich
Die optimale Ladespannung einer Blei-Säure-Batterie variiert
umgekehrt mit der Temperatur. Das Blue Smart IP65 Ladegerät
misst während der Testphase die Umgebungstemperatur und
nimmt während des Ladevorgangs einen Temperaturausgleich
vor. Die Temperatur wird erneut gemessen, wenn das Ladegerät
sich im Niedrigstrommodus, in der
Ladeerhaltungsspannungsphase oder im Lagerungsmodus
befindet. Daher werden keine Sondereinstellungen für eine kalte
bzw. heiße Umgebung benötigt.
2.7 Adaptives Batterie-Management
Blei-Säure Batterien sollten in drei Stufen geladen werden. Diese
sind: [1] 'bulk' bzw. Konstantstromladephase,
[2] 'absorption' bzw.
Konstantspannungsphase und [3] 'float' bzw.
Erhaltungsladungsphase.
Die Konstantspannungsphase muss mehrere Stunden andauern.
So wird die Batterie voll aufgeladen und einem frühzeitigen
Versagen aufgrund von Sulfatierung¹ vorgebeugt.
Die relativ hohe Spannung während der
Konstantspannungsphase beschleunigt jedoch den
Alterungsprozess, da es an den positiven Platten zu
Gitterkorrosion kommt.
Durch das Adaptive Batterie-Management wird Korrosion
verringert, indem die Konstantspannungsphase sofern möglich
verkürzt wird. Das ist der Fall, wenn eine Batterie geladen wird,
die schon (beinahe) voll ist.
2.8 Lagerungs-Modus: weniger Korrosion an den positiven
Platten
Sogar die geringere Spannung der Erhaltungsladungsphase, die
auf die Konstantspannungsphase folgt, führt zu einer
Gitterkorrosion. Daher ist es von größter Bedeutung, die
Ladespannung noch weiter zu verringern, wenn die Batterie über
48 Stunden am Ladegerät angeschlossen bleibt.
