6 LITHIUM-IJZERFOSFAATACCU'S (LiFePO4)
LiFePO4 is de meest gebruikte samenstelling voor lithium-ionaccu's.
De fabrieksinstelling ‘charged parameters’ is over het algemeen ook van
toepassing op LiFePO4-accu's.
Sommige acculaders stoppen met opladen als de stroom onder de
ingestelde drempelwaarde daalt. De staartstroom moet hoger worden
ingesteld dan deze drempelwaarde.
De laadefficiëntie van lithium-ionaccu's is veel hoger dan die van
loodzwavelzuuraccu's: Wij adviseren om de laadefficiëntie in te stellen op
99%.
In het geval van hoge ontlaadsnelheden presteren LiFePO4-accu's veel
beter dan loodzwavelzuuraccu's. Indien niet anders door de leverancier
van de accu is aangegeven, adviseren wij om de Peukert-exponent in te
stellen op 1,05.
Belangrijke waarschuwing
Lithium-ionaccu's zijn duur en kunnen onherstelbaar beschadigd raken door te diepe
ontlading of overlading.
Beschadiging als gevolg van te diepe ontlading kan optreden als lage belastingen (zoals:
alarmsystemen, relais, stand-by-stroom van bepaalde belastingen, retourstroomverbruik van
acculaders of ladingsregelaars) langzaam de accu ontladen als het systeem niet in gebruik is.
In geval van twijfel over mogelijke resterende stroomopname isoleert u de accu door de
accuschakelaar te openen, de accuzekering uit te nemen of door de pluspool van de accu los
te koppelen als het systeem niet in gebruik is.
Een restontlaadstroom is vooral gevaarlijk als het systeem volledig is ontladen en
door een te lage celspanning is uitgeschakeld. Na een uitschakeling door een te lage
celspanning resteert een reservecapaciteit van ongeveer 1Ah per 100Ah
accucapaciteit in de lithium-ionaccu. De accu zal beschadigd raken als de resterende
reservecapaciteit aan de accu wordt onttrokken. Een reststroom van 4mA
bijvoorbeeld kan een 100Ah-accu beschadigen als het systeem gedurende meer dan
10 dagen (4mA x 24h x 10 dagen = 0,96Ah) in ontladen toestand verkeert.
Een BMV 700 of 702 verbruikt 4 mA van een 12V-accu (dit loopt op naar 15 mA als het
alarmrelais is geactiveerd). De positieve voeding moet daarom worden onderbroken
als een systeem met lithium-ionaccu's zolang onbeheerd wordt gelaten dat de BMV
de accu volledig zou kunnen leegtrekken.
Wij adviseren daarom met klem om de BMV-712 Smart te gebruiken. Deze
heeft een stroomverbruik van slechts 1 mA (12V-accu), ongeacht de positie
van het alarmrelais.
