8. Turn the Water Tank (2) upright. Make sure
that the Tank Cap (3) is in place and check
it for leaks.
9. Replace the filled Water Tank (2) on the
Base (7).
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Check that the Water Tank (2) is filled and
that the Removable Tray (6) and the Filter
(5) are in place.
2. Check that the Power Switch (9) is in off-posi-
tion (0). Plug the supply cord into the outlet.
Do not touch the supply cord with wet hands.
3. Turn the Power Switch (9) to the desired
position:
I = Low humidifying performance
II = High humidifying performance
4. The Power Switch (10) illuminates and the
humidifier is in operation.
5. Direct the Mist Outlet (8) away from people,
objects or walls.
6. If surplus humidity condenses on furniture,
walls or floors in closed or small rooms, turn
the Power Switch (9) to (I) and open the
door to the room. If this does not solve the
problem turn the Power Switch (9) to the
off-position (0) and unplug the humidifier.
7. Before removing the humidifier or filling the
Water Tank (2) turn the Power Switch (9) to
the off-position and unplug the humidifier.
CLEANING, CARE AND STORAGE
We recommend to clean the humidifier
frequently. In order to not impair the perform-
ance of the humidifier, follow the instructions for
Cleaning, Care and Storage.
Daily Cleaning
1. Before cleaning, turn the Power Switch (9)
to the off-position (0) and unplug the unit.
2. Remove the Water Tank (2) from the Base (7).
3. Carefully remove the Removable Tray (6)
from the Base (7) being careful not to
damage the delicate Filter (5). Empty excess
water from the Removable Tray (6) without
removing the Filter (5). Do not clean or
wash the Filter (5).
4. Open the Tank Cap (3) by turning it
counter-clockwise and drain any water
from the Water Tank (2).
5. Rinse the Water Tank (2) thoroughly with
lukewarm water.
6. Wipe the outer surfaces of the Water Tank
(2) with a clean, damp cloth.
7. To operate the humidifier follow the
instructions under „Filling the Water Tank“
and „Operating Instructions“.
Weekly Cleaning
1. Before cleaning, turn the Power Switch (9)
to the off-position (0) and unplug the unit.
2. Remove the Water Tank (2) from the Base (7).
3. Carefully remove the Filter (5) being careful
not to tear it; then let it drain. Remove the
Removable Tray (6) from the Base (7) and
empty the excess water. Do not clean or
wash the Filter (5).
4. Open the Tank Cap (3) by turning it
counter-clockwise and drain any water
from the Water Tank (2).
5. Clean the Water Tank (2) and the Removable
Tray (6) with a commercially available
washing liquid. Afterwards thoroughly rinse
these parts several times in lukewarm water.
Do not immerse the Base (7) in water.
6. Wipe the outer surfaces of the Water Tank
(2) with a clean, damp cloth.
7. To operate the humidifier follow the
instructions under „Filling the Water Tank“
and „Operating Instructions“.
Disinfecting
1. Every fortnight, after cleaning, you should
additionally disinfect only these parts of the
humidifier: Water Tank inside (2) and the
Removable Tray (6).
2. Use a commercially available alcohol-based
disinfectant or high-proof alcohol. This disin-
fectant is an alcohol mixture available in
pharmacies or drug stores. Follow the disin-
fectant manufacturers written instructions.
Both substances will not harm the plastic
parts but should be rinsed thoroughly in
water after disinfection.
3. Dry all inner surfaces with a soft tissue
and wipe all outer surfaces with a soft,
dry cloth.
