5. Close the Water Tank (6) with the Tank Cap
(8) by turning it clockwise.
6. Check that the Removable Tray (4) and the
Cooling Chamber (2) are in place and that
the Cooling Chamber Interlock (12) is
engaged.
7. Turn the Water Tank (6) upright. Make sure
that the Tank Cap (8) is in place and check
it for leaks.
8. Do not add any substances into the Water
Tank (6) or Heating Chamber (10) (e.g.
inhalant, aromatic substances etc.). This can
cause health hazards to people.
9. Replace the filled Water Tank (6) on the
Base (11).
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Check that the Water Tank (6) is filled and
that the Removable Tray (4) and the
Cooling Chamber (2) are in place.
2. Check that the Power Switch (13) is in
off-position (0). Plug the supply cord into
the outlet. Do not touch the supply cord with
wet hands as electric shock could result.
3. Turn the Power Switch (13) to the desired
position:
I = Low humidifying performance
II = High humidifying performance
The Night Light (14) illuminates and the
Heating Element (16) is in operation.
After a few minutes mist will appear at the
steam outlet on top of the Cooling
Chamber (2).
4. Do not touch the hot steam. Steam can
cause burns.
5. Direct the steam outlet away from people,
objects or walls.
6. If surplus humidity forms condensation on
walls and windows in closed or small
rooms, turn the Power Switch (13) to (I) and
open the door to the room. If this does not
solve the problem turn the Power Switch to
the off-position (0) and unplug the
humidifier.
7. Before removing the humidifier or filling the
Water Tank (6) turn the Power Switch (13)
to the off-position and unplug the unit.
Allow the humidifier to cool for at
30 minutes.
RESET-INSTRUCTIONS
When the Water Tank (6) is empty and water in
the Heating Chamber (10) is almost used up,
the Heating Element (16) will automatically shut
off. The Reset Light (15) illuminates to indicate
that the Water Tank (6) needs to be refilled. In
order to operate the humidifier again follow
these instructions:
1. Turn the Power Switch (13) to the off-posi-
tion (0) and unplug the unit.
2. Allow the humidifier to cool down for at
least 30 minutes.
3. Fill the Water Tank (6), as described under
„Filling the Water Tank“.
4. Plug the supply cord into the outlet. Do
not touch the supply cord with wet hands.
5. The Reset Light (15) goes off.
6. Turn the Power Switch (13) to the desired
position:
I = Low Humidifying Performance
II = High Humidifying Performance
7. The Night Light (14) illuminates and the
Heating Element (16) is in operation. After
a few minutes mist will appear at the steam
outlet on top of the Cooling Chamber (2).
CLEANING, CARE AND STORAGE
We recommend to clean the humidifier
frequently. In order to not impair the perform-
ance of the humidifier, follow the instructions for
Cleaning, Care and Storage.
Daily Cleaning
1. Before cleaning, turn the Power Switch (13)
to the off-position (0) and unplug the unit.
2. Check that the humidifier has cooled for at
least 30 minutes.
3. Remove the Water Tank (6) from the Base
(11).
4. Open the Tank Cap (8) by turning it
counter-clockwise and drain any water
from the Water Tank (6).
5. Rinse the Water Tank (6) thoroughly with
lukewarm water.
6. Wipe the outer surfaces of the Water Tank
(6) with a clean, damp cloth.
7. To operate the humidifier follow the instruc-
tions under „Filling the Water Tank“ and
„Operating Instructions“.
