misurazione precisa, sicura e veloce della temperatura corporea.
Come per tutti i termometri, tuttavia, è essenziale adottare una tecnica corretta per misurare la
temperatura con precisione. Leggere quindi attentamente queste istruzioni e rispettarle.
AVVERTENZE E PRECAUZIONI
1. Non utilizzare il termometro sulla pelle per 20 minuti dopo l’esposizione a temperature alte o
basse, ad esempio alla luce solare diretta, al caldo emanato da un caminetto, a compresse fredde,
al flusso diretto di aria condizionata o dopo aver nuotato, fatto un bagno, ecc.
2. Non posizionare il termometro su tessuto cicatrizzato o compromesso da disordini cutanei.
3. Non utilizzare l’unità su pazienti sotto trauma o in trattamento farmacologico.
4. Non misurare la temperatura dal lato sul quale è adagiato il paziente, ma misurarla sul lato
opposto.
5. Non esporre il termometro a temperature estreme inferiori a -20°C (-4°F) o superiori a 50°C
(122°F) o ad umidità eccessiva (> 85% umidità relativa senza condensa).
6. Non utilizzare il termometro se la temperatura ambiente di funzionamento è inferiore a 10°C
(50°F) o superiore a 40°C (104°F).
7. Non inserire la batteria con il segno + rivolto verso il basso, poiché in tal modo il termometro non
funzionerà.
8. Questo termometro è inteso unicamente per l’uso domestico.
9. L’uso di questo termometro non deve sostituire la visita consultiva con il medico.
10. Le misurazioni rilevate sul lato destro della testa del paziente possono differire dal lato sinistro e
pertanto è preferibile misurare sempre la temperatura sullo stesso lato della testa.
11. Il termometro non è impermeabile. Non immergerlo MAI in alcun liquido.
