5 Using your walker
5.1 Unfolding / folding
Risk of entrapment
Keep fingers, buckles, jewellery and
clothes away from the folding mechanism.
Risk of falling
Check that the walker is completely open
and that the frame is locked.
5.1.1 Unfolding the walker
1. Place the walker with its legs and wheels
on the ground while holding the frame
tubes.
2. Pull the front (4) and rear (5) frame tubes
apart, and push the bars of the folding
mechanism (6) as far down as possible.
3. Fold down the seat.
5.1.2 Folding the walker
1. Stand behind the walker.
2. Fold the seat upward.
3. Using the strap (7), pull the brace (8)
upward to close the frame a bit.
4. Close the frame completely by pushing
front (4) and rear (5) frame tubes together.
5.2 Sitting down
Risk of falling
Always use the seat from the rear side of
the walker.
1. While leaning on the handgrips, turn
around and sit down on the seat.
2. To stand up again, lean on the handgrips
and turn around.
5.3 Walking
When you feel balanced enough, slightly tilt
the walker on its wheels to the front. Rest the
rear legs on the ground and slowly push the
walker forward.
Always keep your feet inside the frame.
