TYRE CHANGING
If you want to change the tyres or inner tubes, you should note the following:
STEERING WHEELS
A. Loosen the screw on the steering wheel axle and
remove it from the steering wheel fork.
B. Let the air out of the steering wheel by lightly pressing
the pressure pin on the valve.
C. Loosen the 5 screws that hold the split rim together.
Now separate the rim sides.
ASSEMBLY
Insert the partly-filled inner tube into the tyre.
C. Connect the two sides of the rim through the tyres and
use the 5 connecting screws to screw the rim
together.
B. Make sure that the valve juts out of the valve opening
in the rim.
A. Put the wheel back into the front wheel fork and inflate
the wheel.
L Before taking the rim apart always let the air out of the tyres, or the sides of the rim could
come apart explosively and cause injury!
L Make sure that the inner tube does not get caught in the sides of the rim
L Only inflate the wheels to the max. tyre pressure (see "Technical details")
L Check to see that all the screws on the wheels are firmly tightened before using the
wheelchair.
DRIVE WHEELS
The drive wheels can be detached from the drive motor.
Loosen and remove the wheel nuts (4).
Completely detach the wheel (3) from the motor axle (1).
The groove pin (2) that rests on the motor axle can get jammed in the rim.
WHEEL ASSEMBLY
Remove dirt from the thread and axle of the wheel mount on the motor and degrease the
thread.
