4. USE
1. Temperature setting
The freezer temperature can be set by pressing the ‘Set’ button.
The temperature setting is conrmed if the ‘Set’ button is not pressed within 5 seconds.
After this, the desired temperature is set and this is shown on the display.
The following settings are possible:
-14, -16, -18, -20 and -22 and ‘Super Freeze’. The recommended setting is -18 °C.
2. Super Freeze
Press the ‘Set’ button for 3 seconds to select the ‘Super Freeze’ mode, after which the ‘Super’
symbol lights up on the display.
Press the ‘Set’ button again for 3 seconds to turn off ‘Super Freeze’ mode, after which the
‘Super’ symbol on the display goes out.
When ‘Super Freeze’ mode is on, the temperature inside the compartment cools down quickly,
which prevents the loss of nutritional value of the food and keeps freshness intact.
* The appliance uses more energy than usual in ‘Super Freeze’ mode. The most energy-efcient
mode for this appliance is -18 °C
3. Door alarm
If the door remains open for more than 90 seconds, the door alarm goes off. You can turn this off
by closing the door properly or by pressing the ‘Set’ button.
4. Temperature alarm
If the temperature in the freezer exceeds -6 °C for more than 6 hours, the alarm goes off.
In addition to the alarm going off, the 5 indicator lights on the temperature display also ash
(the ‘Super’ light and the 4 digit lights from ‘-14’ to ‘-20’).
The alarm goes off automatically when the temperature drops below -10 degrees.
You can also press the ‘Set’ button to stop the alarm.
