Testing batteries

• Set the function switch to "test".

Only the battery in the first slot (the left one) is tested. The test

LED (the white one at the top) will light up to indicate th e s tren g th

of the battery (no light means no power; bright light means a lot

of power). Batteries in other slots will be charged in the

meantim e.

Discharging batter ies

• Set the function switch to "discharge" (this option is not available

for 9V batteries). The batteries' red LEDs will be switched off to

indicate the batteries are being discharged.

Note: the device will not switch to charge mode automatically

after discharge. Check if the batteries are fully discharged using

the 'test' function.

Charg ing batteries

• Set the function switch to "charge".

The individual red LED lights up to indicate the inserted battery is

be ing charged.

Note: the charging process is not stopped automatically when the

batteries are fully charged.
