Post-motor Filter
Located at the rear of the vacuum cleaner is a post-
motor filter which can also be removed and replaced.
1. Push down on the latch to release to post-motor
filter cover (Fig.6/7)
2. Remove the post-motor filter (Fig.6/8). Vax
recommend replacing the filter every 6-12
months.
7. Clearing Blockages
1 Switch the vacuum cleaner off and disconnect
the power plug from the electrical outlet.
2. The flexible hose can be disconnected from the
vacuum cleaner by pushing in the button on the
hose and pulling away from the machine
(Fig.7/1). Remove any blockages found then
reconnect the hose securely.

Switch the vacuum cleaner off and disconnect the
power plug from the electrical outlet.
1. Rotate the locking ring 180
o
(Fig.7/2).
2. Lift the top cover off and remove any blockage
(Fig.7/3).
3. To re-assemble, ensure that the tabs are
engaged. Pivot the lower housing closed and
rotate the locking ring 180
o
(Fig.7/4).
