INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Wall holder model 044.01 - 044.02 -
044.03 - 044.04 - 044.05 - 044.06
Model 044.01 (Fig. 1)
Basic model with ON-OFF switch.
Model 044.02 (Fig. 2)
Model with 16 A European standard socket and ON-OFF switch.
Model 044.03 (Fig. 3)
Model with 10 mA (*) differential switch, 16 A European standard
socket and ON-OFF switch.
Model 044.04 (Fig. 4)
Model with 10 mA (*) differential switch and ON-OFF switch.
Model 044.05 (Fig. 5)
Model with universal shaver socket (**) and ON-OFF switch.
Model 044.06 (Fig. 6)
Model with 10 mA (*) differential switch, universal shaver socket
(**) and ON-OFF switch.
(*) The appliance is equipped with a 10 mA differential switch.
(**) A safety transformer isolates the shaver socket from the
mains electricity and a protective device prohibits the use of
appliances with a power greater than 20 VA.
Installation of wall holder
This work should only be carried out by a suitably qualified electrical
engineer, in order to comply with the existing national safety regulations.
When the spiral cord is extended to its maximum length, the hairdryer
shall not be reached by a person using the bath or the shower.
There are two possible methods of installation:
A = for fixed connection lead
B = for mobile connection lead
Attention: before installing the hairdryer
always switch off the general switch
of your mains electricity.
Method A (for fixed connection lead) for
wall holder model 044.01 - 044.04
044.05 - 044.06
The connection wiring from the mains for wall holder models
044.01 - 044.04 - 044.05 - 044.06 must be type 2x1,5 mm2.
1. Separate the cover (1) of the wall holder from the back plate by
loosening the screw (14).
2. Remove the knockout (2) provided in the back plate of the wall
holder.
3. Feed the mains supply cable (3) coming out of the wall into the
hole in the back plate left after removing the knockout (2).
4. Secure the back plate of the wall holder to the wall using the plugs
and screws provided.
5. Remove the terminal connector (4), connect the mains supply
cable (3) to the terminal connector (4), as shown in the picture, and
then secure again the terminal connector (4).
6. Model 044.01 - 044.04 - 044.05 - 044.06 are double insulated
and no earth connection is provided.
7. Fit the front cover of the wall holder, taking care to locate the cable
sleeve (6) properly. Secure the front cover with the screw (14).
8. Switch on the general switch of your mains electricity. The
hairdryer is ready for use.
Method B: (for mobile connection lead)
only for wall holder model 044.01 - 044.04
044.05 - 044.06
The connection wiring from the mains for wall holder models 044.01
044.04 - 044.05 - 044.06 must be type H05VV-F 2x1,5 mm2.
1. Separate the cover (1) of the wall holder from the back plate by
loosening the screw (14).
2. Remove the knockout (8) provided in the base of the back plate
of the wall holder for feeding the cable sleeve (11).
3. Secure the back plate of the wall holder to the wall using the plugs
and screws provided.
4. Strip the power supply connection cable (13), insert the cable
bushing (11), remove the terminal (9), connect the cable (13) to
the terminal (9) and reposition the terminal (9). Position the
stripped part of the cable carefully, as indicated in the picture.
Secure the cable bushing (10) using the corresponding screws.
Caution: this appliance has double insulation and is not fitted with
an earthing system.
5. Locate the cable sleeves (6) and (11) in the slot provided in the
base of the back plate.
6. Fit the front cover of the wall holder, taking care to locate the cable
sleeves (6) and (11) properly.
7. Secure the front cover with the screw (14).
8. Switch on the general switch of your mains electricity. The
hairdryer is ready for use.
Method C (with mobile connection) for
models 044.02 - 044.03
See Method B: only variant:
- The power cable for mounts 044.02 - 044.03 must be type
H05VV-F 3G x 2.5 mm2and must be connected to the tripolar
terminal (7)
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Switching
Wall mount switch (Fig. 7, 1)

appliance out of the mount = on
Differential switch
(Mod. 044.03, 044.04, 044.06 only)
The differential switch (Fig. 9 and 10), in the event of a fault in the
electrical circuit to which it is connected, is triggered and cuts off the
power supply to the mount and the hair dryer. (Fig. 9)
Allow your appliance to cool before storing away and do not wrap the
supply cord around the hairdryer in storage.
The A-weighted sound pressure level of the hairdryers for commercial use
is below 70 dB(A).
