Voorzorgsmaatregelen
1. Waarom moet de smartwatch strak om de pols gedragen worden tijdens de metingen?
De smartwatch werkt met optische sensoren om de hartslag te monitoren. Wanneer de smartwatch
niet strak om de pols wordt gedragen, kan er invloed zijn van lichtinval. Daardoor wordt de
nauwkeurigheid van de metingen beïnvloed.
2. De watch mag niet gedragen worden bij contact met heet water. Ook niet om een warm bad
te nemen.
Eerste factor: Het warme water veroorzaakt stoom. Deze stoom kan leiden tot condensvorming
achter het schermpje. Wanneer de temperatuur later zakt, wordt de damp geleidelijk omgezet tot
waterdruppels die het interne circuit en de elektronische elementen van de watch kunnen
beschadigen.
Tweede factor: temperatuur
Grote en plotse schommelingen tussen warme en koude temperaturen, kan de goede werking
beïnvloeden en de smartwatch zelfs beschadigen. Hou hier rekening mee tijdens het dagelijks
gebruik.
