3. Temporarily change the IP address of your computer
From the IPv4 settings, switch to configure your IP
address manually.
Type in the following settings:
• IP address: 192.168.10.111
• Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
• Default gateway/Router: 192.168.10.1
• Note: Do not change DNS settings
Click “OK” and wait a few seconds to allow the new
settings to apply.
Step 1. Confirm Live Internet Connection
Please verify that your router or DSL modem is working
properly and that your existing devices can connect to
the Internet successfully.
Step 2. Select Repeater Location
Identify the wall socket where you would like to place
the repeater. Ensure that your desired location has a
stable Wi-Fi signal from your original router. > 70%
signal strength is ideal, while signals < 50% strength may
reduce your network speed and connection stability.
Step 3. Connect Computer to your Repeater
1. Plug the repeater into a wall socket; allow a 1-minute
start up time.
2. Connect your computer to the repeater wirelessly:
From your computer, view your available wireless
connections (typically accessible from the corner
of your desktop).
Choose the newly available “WiFi-Repeater”
network and connect. Note that no password is
needed at this time.
Step 4. Temporarily change the IP address
setting of your computer
1. Open the IP setting dialog on your computer
For PC users
Windows 7
Go to Start > Control Panel > Network & Sharing
Center > Change Adapter Settings (or Manage
Network Connections).
Windows XP
Go to Start > Control Panel > Network Connections.
Among the list of connections, right click
“Wireless Connection.”
Click “Properties” in the pop-up menu. The
“connection properties” window will appear.
In this window, double click “Internet Protocol
Version 4(TCP/IPv4).” The IP setting dialog will
appear.

For Mac users
Click the Wi-Fi icon from the top-right corner
of your desktop and choose “Open Network
Preferences.” The network configuration window
will appear.
On the left of the window, select your Wi-Fi
connection. Then click “Advanced…” on the lower
right side.
Select the TCP/IP tab, and the IP setting page will
appear.
2. Record the current IPv4 settings before proceeding
Note: Computers are often set to “Obtain an IP
address automatically” via the DHCP setting. If it is
not, you need to write down the exact information of
your IP address, subnet mask and default gateway.
3. Temporarily change the IP address of your computer

Step 5. Logon to the Repeater Settings
1. Open a web browser on your computer, and type
192.168.10.1 to reach the repeater’s static IP address. A
log-on dialogue will be displayed.
2. Enter your User/Password: admin/admin to logon to
the configuration web page of your repeater.
Step 6. Configure the Repeater
1. Click “Setup Wizard” on the left of page.
2. Choose “Wireless Repeater Mode (Station),” then click
“Next”
3. Click “Repeater - OneKey Setting”
4. After scanning, a list of available wireless AP (access
point) networks will be displayed on the page. Select
the SSID (access point name) of your existing wireless
router, then click “Next.
5. Configure security information:
Do not change the default values above “Pre-Shared
Key”. These values reflect your settings from your
existing router signal and have been detected by the
repeater to ensure compatibility.
In the “Pre-Shared Key” field, type your existing
wireless router’s password.
6. Click “Apply and Reboot,” then click “Yes.” Wait 1
minute for the repeater to restart completely.
Step 7. Restore your Computer’s Original IP
Address Settings
Follow the same process from Step 4, and restore your
original / recorded IP address settings.
Step 8. Connect your Computer to the Newly
Configured Repeater
1. From your computer, view your available wireless
