cLeanIng anD care
1. Switch the appliance off using the „EIN/AUS“
[ON/OFF] switch.
2. Never immerse the appliance or the lead
cable completely in water or other liquids
to clean them. Make sure that no water
penetrates the casing of the appliance.
3. Never clean the appliance and the
accessories in the dishwasher.
4. Do not use any scrubbing sponges,
abrasive agents, steel wool, metal objects,
disinfectants or hot cleaning agents, since
they can damage the appliance.
5. Detach all attachments from the appliance.
6. Detach the upper part
from the shaver attach-
ment pushing both
buttons (B) at the same
time.
7. Attention: The shaver
foil is very delicate and
should not be touched! If the shaver foil
is damaged, it has to be replaced. Our
after-sales service offers the corresponding
replacement parts.
8. Remove all hair and dirt particles from the
inside of the shaver attachment using the
brush included. Reattach the upper part to
the shaver attachment and press to fix.
9. Clean the appliance with a soft, damp cloth.
10. The accessories are subject to a certain
amount of wear and tear and must be
changed from time to time. If the trim
attachment, comb attachment, shaver
attachment or the shaver foil are damaged,
they must be replaced immediately.
Accessories can be directly ordered from our
after-sales service. The corresponding order
form can be found on page 42.
11. Protect the appliance from dust.
Attention: The trim and shaver attachments have sharp and pointed parts. Handle with care in order
to avoid injuries!
aDDItIonaL InStructIonS For DISPoSaL
This appliance contains accumulators. For this reason, the appliance must not be disposed of in
the household waste. If you have any question concerning the correct disposal of accumulators
or accumulator-operated appliances, please contact your local disposal contractor. The appliance
contains accumulators, which are installed in the handle. The accumulators contain nickel metal
hydride.
You may find the following sign on contaminant-laden accumulators: Pb = contains lead, Cd =
contains cadmium, Hg = contains mercury.
10. Detach the comb attachment from the
appliance. Then press the unlock key to
release the trim attachment and detach it
from the appliance.
Shaver attachment
11. Using the shaver attachment allows shaving
e.g. the bikini area, intimate areas or the
underarms. Nevertheless, this attachment is
not appropriate for larger areas like the legs.
You may have a dry shave or use shaving
foam or soap applied to the corresponding
areas you want to shave.
12. Switch the appliance off pushing the button
EIN/AUS [ON/OFF].
13. Check if the cutter block is attached to the
appliance. If not, attach it to the appliance
and latch it into place.
14. Attach the shaver attachment to the cutter
block and latch it into place.
15. Switch the appliance on pushing the button
EIN/AUS [ON/OFF].
16. Place the shaving head on the skin and
work against the direction of hair growth, if
possible. Make sure that the shaving head
is always in contact with the skin. Shaving
will be easier, when you tense the skin with
your free hand.
17. After shaving, switch the appliance off
pushing the button EIN/AUS [ON/OFF].
18. Then press the unlock key to release the
shaver attachment and detach it from the
appliance.
19. Clean the appliance after every use.
