INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE MODEL 78905
SAFETY INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
1. Please read the following information and
keep it for future reference.
2. This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
3. Children should be supervised in order
to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
4. Keep the appliance out of reach of
children.
5. Never immerse the appliance in water or
other liquids.
6. The appliance should never come into
contact with water or other liquids. In case
this ever happens, the appliance must be
completely dry before operating it again.
7. Do not clean the appliance in a dish-
washer.
8. Protect the scale from impacts, dust,
chemicals and significant variations in
temperature.
9. The accuracy of the scale may be affected by
electromagnetic fields (e.g. mobile phones,
induction hob). Therefore, keep sufficient
distance to this kind of equipment.
10. Use the appliance only with the required
number of batteries of type AAA. Replace
worn out batteries betimes.
11. Remove the batteries if the appliance is not
used during an extended period.
12. This appliance is intended for domestic and
similar use such as:
staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and
other working environments;
farm houses;
by clients in hotels, motels and other
accommodation facilities;
bed and breakfast accommodations and
holiday homes.
13. For safety reasons, never place the
appliance on hot surfaces, a metal tray or
a wet surface.
14. Do not operate the appliance near open
flames.
15. Always use the appliance on a level,
uncluttered and heat-resistant surface.
16. Use the scale only indoors.
17. Use the appliance only for small amounts of
up to 5 kg, including the bowl.
18. Do not use the appliance with accessories
of other manufacturers or brands, to prevent
damage.
19. Check the appliance and the inserted
batteries regularly for wear or damage. In
case the scale presents damages, please
send the appliance to our after sales service
for inspection and repair (for address, see
warranty terms).
20. Unauthorised repairs can constitute serious
risks for the user and void the warranty.
