23. To prevent injuries, do not move the appli-
ance as long as it is in operation.
24. Do not use the appliance with accessories
of other manufacturers or brands, to prevent
damage.
25. Disconnect the appliance from the wall
socket after use and prior to cleaning. Never
leave the appliance unattended when it is
connected to the wall socket.
26. Let the appliance cool off before cleaning it.
27. Never open the casing of the appliance to
prevent electric shock.
28. Check the appliance, the wall socket and the
lead cable regularly for wear or damage. In
case the lead cable or other parts present
damages, please send the appliance or the
base to our after sales service for inspection
and repair (for address, see warranty terms).
Unauthorised repairs can constitute serious
risks for the user and void the warranty.
Caution! The appliance becomes very
hot during operation!
The manufacturer will not be liable in the event of incorrect assembly, improper or incorrect use or if
repairs are carried out by unauthorized third parties.
BEFORE FIRST USE
USE OF THE APPLIANCE
1. Before assembling the appliance remove all
packing materials.
2. Check if all parts are complete.
3. Wipe the removable parts with a damp cloth
or clean it in warm soapy water. Dry the
parts carefully
4. Wipe the housing with a damp cloth. Make
sure that no water can penetrate into the
housing.
5. Put the plug into a socket.
1. The Chocolate Maker is ideal for melting
chocolate and for tempering chocolate coa-
tings of all kind for a variety of applications.
2. Fill the melting pan with approx. 100 g of
coarsely chopped chocolate coating or cho-
colate. Place the melting pan into the base
element.
3. For melting chocolate coating we recom-
mend to use level II, for melting of choco-
late you should use level I.
4. Stir the chocolate coating from time to time
during melting to avoid that the chocolate
becomes lumpy. Only use heat-resisting
plastic tools for stirring to avoid scratches
on the metal parts.
5. As soon as the chocolate coating is comple-
tely melted, reduce the heat to level I. The
ideal temperature for working with the cho-
colate coating is approx. 32 °C. This tempe-
rature is reached on level I in case of regular
stirring. You may use a meat thermometer
for measuring the temperature.
6. Now you can use the melted chocolate coa-
ting / chocolate for all kinds of applications.
7. If you do not use up all of the chocolate coa-
ting / chocolate, just let it cool down. You
can keep the hardened chocolate for later
use.
8. After use, turn switch in 0 position and
unplug the appliance.
9. Diet chocolate
Even diet chocolate can be used for all
applications desribed below.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Always unplug the appliance, when it is not
use and let it cool down before it is cleaned.
2. Do not use any sharp or scouring agents.
3. Wipe the housing with a damp cloth and dry
it with a soft cloth.
4. Take care to avoid water penetrating into the
appliance.
5. The lid, the melting pan and the accessories
can be cleaned in warm soapy water and
rinsed with clear water.
6. All parts of the appliance must be dry before
use.
