PROGRAMMERING VIA SOFTWARE
Er zijn drie mogelijkheden om de UBC780XLT te programmeren:
• per PC- software
• per Cloning met een andere UBC780XLT
• (en natuurlijk op het apparaat zelf...)
Interessante software foor de UNIDEN Bearcat UBC780XLT vindt u onder
andere op internet onder: www.ubc.780xlt.com
Deze software hoort niet bij de levering.
Wat kunt u met deze software allemaal programmeren? Alles, afgezien
van de Service Search bereiken. Het editen van de aparte geheugens en
banken is wezenlijk eenvoudiger en overzichtelijker. Het is - afhankelijk van
de software - ook mogelijk, data uit de scanner uit te lezen en in de PC op
te slaan. Hieronder een screenshot van de ARC780XLT software.
U heeft nodig: een SUB-D RS232C kabel, die aangesloten wordt op de
seriële poort van de PC (b.v. COM1 of COM2, enz.).

Oproepen van deze functie:
•Druk op de toets SVC en met de pijltjestoetsen het gewenste bereik
kiezen (1 - 5). Na ca. 3 sec start het zoeken automatisch!
•Frequenties kunnen met het indrukken van de toets SRCH
overgeslagen worden, resp. u kunt hiermee het zoeken opnieuw
starten.
• Met de toetsen HOLD of LIMIT kunt u de zoekrichting veranderen.
• Als er een actieve frequentie is gevonden, dan kunt u deze frequentie
door op toets E te drukken naar het het laatst opgeroepen geheugen
brengen! (Voorzichtig, ook geprogrammeerde geheugens worden
overschreven!).
Ook in het SERVICE SEARCH bereik kunt u frequenties uitschakelen (SKIP).
Er kunnen maximaal 100 skip- frequenties geprogrammeerd worden.
• Als er een niet gewenste frequentie is gevonden, gewoon op de toets
L/O drukken.
• Skip- functie weer opheffen door HOLD of LIMIT en dan toets L/O
(is alleen mogelijk tijdens de SEARCH- procedure).
• Opheffen van alle skip- frequenties tijdens Service search: toets L/O
minimaal 2 sec vasthouden.
TRUNKED SYSTEMS
De in de Amerikaanse handleiding opgenomen informatie over het zog.
Trunking System (bundelradio) hebben we niet van commentaar
voorzien, omdat deze info speciaal voor de Amerikaanse markt bedoeld is.
In Europa wordt - als het al gebeurt - slechts in enkele gevallen EDACS
