Using the Alarm Clock
Your scanner’s Clock displays whenever you turn off the radio functions.
It can also be used as a standard alarm clock.
Setting the Current Time
Follow the steps to set the current time:
1. Move the slide switch to
Clock Set.
The hour digits flash.
2. Press
▲ or ▼ to change the hour by one
hour increments/decrements or press the
number keys to select the present hour.
Then press E/PGM to set the hour. The
minutes digits flash.
3. Press
▲ or ▼ to change the minute setting by one minute or press the
appropriate number keys to enter the minutes. Then, move TIME slide
switch to Clock position.
Note: When minute is changed, second is reset to 0.
Setting the Alarm Clock
Follow these steps to set the alarm time:
1. Move the slide switch to
Alarm Set.
The hours digits flash.
2. Press
▲ or ▼ to change the hour by one
hour increments/decrements or press the
number keys to select the present hour.
Then press E/PGM to set the hour. The
minutes digits flash.
3. Press
▲ or ▼ to change the minute setting by one minute or press the
appropriate number keys to enter the minutes. Press E/PGM to set the
minutes.
4. To lock in the alarm time, move the slide switch to
Clock.
