Press0iX) to find thelocal weather channel.
Adjust SQUELCHto set the scan threshold. When you are
monitoring a single channel in Manual mode, adjust
SQUELCHto eliminate the background "rushing" noise
heard in the absence of an incoming signal.
TurnVOLUME
clockwise to turnthe scanner on to increase
the volume. Turn counterclockwise to decrease the volume
or turn the scanner off.
Press (REVIEW) to review the frequency of the current channel.
Press ~ to stop scanning. Press ~ againto step
to the next channel. Also, use for direct channel acc~ss b~
