The modulation, Priority mode icon (if Priority is enabled), any
CTCSS/DCS received (if enabled), and the Close Call icon (if CC
Pri or CC-DND is enabled) will also appear in the display.
• To store a frequency, press Pgm/E. See Storing Found Search
Frequencies, page 52.
• To temporarily lock out a frequency, press L/O.
• To permanently lock out a frequency, press L/O twice
quickly.
• To exit Quick Search, press Scan.

Search Options
Search Delay
This setting controls how many seconds the scanner waits after
a transmission ends before resuming searching. If you select a
minus delay time, the scanner stops on the transmission for the
setting time and then automatically resumes scanning. (Default
= 2 seconds). This setting a ects both Search and Close Call.
1. Press Func then Pgm/E in Service, Custom, or Quick
Search/Search Hold mode to view the Search menu.
2. Scroll to Set Delay and press Pgm/E.
3. Turn SCROLL CONTROL to select the delay time from the
following options:
• -10 sec - resumes after 10 seconds.
• -5 sec - resumes after 5 seconds.
• 0 sec - resumes immediately.

  • Why is the volume very low on my scanner?.Unable to hear anything,but when I insert headphones the volume is very loud Submitted on 27-6-2023 at 13:02

  • When I press scan it only moves on to the next frequency I have stored and the next and so on. It does not scan the frequencies. Any ideas Submitted on 3-4-2020 at 01:07
