Birdies
Birdies zijn intern gegenereerde signalen op welke de scanner tijdens
scannen of zoeken kan stoppen. Als u problemen met zulke frequenties
heeft gebruik dan de blokkeerfunctie om de ongewenste freuenties over te
slaan.

Problemen en oplossingen
Als u problemen heeft met uw scanner, let dan op de volgende suggesties:
Probleem Suggestie
De scanner werkt niet Controleer of de batterij juist opgeladen en
geplaatst is.
Controleer de netvoeding en de verbinding daarvan.
Is de scanner ingeschakeld?
Zwakke ontvangst Controleer de bevestiging van de antenne.
Test het apparaat op een andere plaats..
Scanner stopt niet Controleer de ruisonderdrukking.
Controleer de antenneverbinding. Het kan zijn, dat
geen van de geprogrammeerde kanalen op dit
moment geactiveerd is. probeer het met de functie
'scannen van frequenties'
Scanner start niet Controleer of in de gekozen banken ook kanalen
geprogrammeerd zijn.
Controleer de ruisonderdrukking.
Het zoeken start niet Controleer de ruisonderdrukking.
Het toetsenbord werkt Controleer of het toetsenbord niet geblokkeerd is.

Navolgende tabel toont de 14 frequentiebanden, welke u met met de
scanner kunt gebruiken. Ontvangstsoort en frequentiestapbreedte zijn
standaardinstellingen die u kunt veranderen. Zie hfst. "Ontvangstsoort
instellen" en "Frequentiestapbreedte veranderen".
