Mounting the first bicycle
1. Press the latch (25) and pull out the lashing straps (26).
2. Unscrew the clamps (27) with the rotary handle (28) until the
tube diameter of the bicycle frame is reached.
3. Place the bicycle on the wheel rails (8) closest to the boot and
secure against tilting.
4. Attach the bracket (10) at the bicycle frame. Tighten the
clamp (27) with the rotary handle (28) and lock with the key (4).
Pull out the key (4).
5. Pass the lashing strap (26) between two wheel spokes, thread
into the buckles (29) and tighten (arrow) with the tensioning
lever (30).
6. Retighten the lashing straps (26) using the tensioning
lever(30)(arrow).
Mounting the second bicycle
The second bicycle is mounted in the same manner as the first.
Note that the bicycles are mounted in opposite directions.
The second bicycle is attached using the long bracket (11).
Attention
Mount heavy bicycles close to the vehicle and light bicycles
(e.g. children’s bikes) further out on the bicycle rack.
Mount the first bicycle with the toothed gear wheel facing
the vehicle.
Attention
Only attach the bracket (10) to the bicycle frame, as other parts
of the bicycle could be damaged. Do not pinch components
such as gear or brake cables.
Faulty clamps must be replaced immediately.

Attention
Do not tighten the lashing straps (26) too firmly, otherwise the
lashing straps (26) and/or the tyres/rims could be damaged.
Tightening the lashing straps (26) places these under tension.
To loosen this tension, the catch (25) may need to be
pressed firmly.
Note
The threaded screws on the bracket must be cleaned and
greased at regular intervals to avoid the rotary handles getting
stuck.
Attention
Only attach the bracket (11) to the bicycle frame, as other parts
of the bicycle could be damaged. Do not pinch components
such as gear or brake cables.
Faulty clamps must be replaced immediately.
