Cut solid pieces into smaller pieces before processing them in the blender jar.
You should not put all of the ingredients into the blender jar simultaneously,
particularly when processing large quantities. Start with a small amount, let
the unit run for several seconds, switch it off, then add additional ingredients.
Use ice trays to freeze pureed foods. Fill the frozen cubes into a closed plastic
sack. They will keep for 2 months.
Soups:
Place all ingredients into the blender jar with the liquid (water, bouillon, milk
or cream) into the blender jar and start the blender at a slow speed. You can
determine the fineness of the puree with the blending time. Run the blender
at a higher speed for thick or cream soups.
Salad Dressings:
Add all ingredients to the blender jar and let the blender run briefly at a low
speed until the sauce is well mixed. As needed, add cream or yogurt and run
the blender again at the highest speed. Do this as well when adding finely
chopped onions, garlic, parsley, chives, etc.
Mayonnaise:
Add ingredients such as eggs, mustard, salt, herbs, vinegar or lemons to
the blender jar and add just enough oil so that the blade is covered approx.
1 cm. Then s
witch the motor on and off several times in short intervals at a
lower speed until the mayonnaise binds together. Then run the blender at a
lower speed and slowly pour in the oil until a drop of oil remains on the
mayonnaise. Turn on the highest speed briefly and switch off the motor.
