2.2 Instructions for Safe Use:
– In order to prevent ingredients from pouring out, please ensure that you
place the gasket on the cutting blade assembly before you insert it into the
blender jar and tighten it.
– Attention! Due to the bayonet lock, the motor only runs if the blender jar is
correctly locked on the unit base.
– Always ensure that the cover is on and holds solidly in place before the
motor is switched on.
– Never remove the cover as long as the blender is in operation. Dancing of
splashing!
– Do not place any hard objects (e.g. spoons, blades, etc.) into the blender jar
when mixing.
– Never leave the activated unit unattended.
– Always shut the unit off before you remove the blender jar.
– Never exceed the maximum filling quantity of 1375 ml.
– When processing hot liquids, fill up a maximum of 750 ml.
Should you wish to process larger quantities, do it in several steps.
– Attention! Do not reach into the rotating blade or into the blender jar.
There is a danger of injury.
– After a maximum of 3 minutes of uninterrupted operating time, take a break
so that the motor can cool down.
– The unit is designed for liquid, soft or grainy foods. Foods which are too hard
can damage the cutting blade assembly. Therefore you should never process
solid foods without adding liquid.
– Never operate the unit with an empty blender jar.
– The blender jar consists of high-quality glass but is still fragile. Do not let the
blender jar fall onto hard surfaces. Also avoid extreme temperature changes.
If the blender jar is very cold, rinse it out with lukewarm water before you fill
in hot liquids.
