Setting the operating mode
The device comes with the following operating modes:
air cooling
Ventilation
Air freshening
Night mode
air cooling
The air cooling mode can be switched on in addition during all
other operating modes.
During air cooling mode, the pump is switched on and the water
is distributed over the evaporation filter to cool the circulating
air with water. If the water tank is empty, the
LowWaterLED(14) flashes.
Please proceed as follows to activate Air cooling:
ü The water tank(6) is filled up with water to the minimum
filling level.
1. Press the Humidify button(21).
ð The Humidify LED(15) is illuminated.
ð The pump starts.
2. Press the Speed button(25) to set the desired fan speed.
ð The desired LED for the fan speed will be illuminated.
3. Press the Humidify button(21) again to switch air cooling
off.
ð The Humidify LED(15) goes out.
ð The device continues to run in the previously selected
operating mode.
Note
When Air cooling mode is activated, the air and
evaporation filter must not be removed, otherwise the
water from the filter will drip down into the device.
Ventilation
In ventilation mode, you can select all 4fan speeds manually.
Please proceed as follows to activate ventilation:
1. Press the Mode button(24) until the General LED(17) is
illuminated.
2. Press the Speed button(25) to set the desired fan speed.
ð The desired LED for the fan speed(19) will be
illuminated.
Air freshening
In air freshening mode, the fan speed increases and decreases
alternately to generate a pleasant, natural air stream.
Please proceed as follows to activate air freshening:
1. Press the Mode button(23) until the Natural LED(17) is
illuminated. The fan speed starts at stage1.
2. If you like to change the preset fan speed, press the
Speed(25) button to set the desired fan speed.
ð The LED for the desired fan speed(19) will be
illuminated.
Night mode
In night mode, it is possible to additionally switch on the air
freshening mode.
In the Sleep mode, the device generates an air current that is
adapted to your sleep habits.
1. Press the Mode button(23) on the device until the Sleep
LED(17) is illuminated. The fan speed starts at stage1.
2. If you like to change the preset fan speed, press the
Speed(25) button to set the desired fan speed.
ð If none of the operating elements have been actuated
for a period of 40s, the LEDs are automatically dimmed.
Setting the timer
The timer has two modes of operation:
automatic switch-on upon expiry of a preset number of
hours.
automatic switch-off upon expiry of a preset number of
hours.
The number of hours can be between 1 and 15 and can be
adjusted in increments of 1h.
Automatic switch-on
ü The device is now in standby mode.
1. Press the Timer button(24) until the desired number of
hours is displayed as a combination of the different hour
LEDs(18).
ð The timer setting equals the desired number of hours.
ð After the set number of hours has elapsed, the device
automatically starts running in ventilation mode at fan stage
1.
Notes regarding automatic switch-on:
Manually switching the device on disables the automatic
switch-on function.
If the power supply is interrupted, the timer will be
deactivated.
Automatic switch-off
ü The device is switched on.
1. Press the Timer button(24) until the desired number of
hours is displayed as a combination of the different Hours
LEDs(18).
ð The timer setting equals the desired number of hours.
ð The device switches off automatically after the set
number of hours has elapsed.
Notes regarding automatic switch-off:
Pressing the On/ Off button(26) deactivates the automatic
switch-off function.
