Este aparelho está previsto exclusivamente

para pendurar ou para montagem no armário

de roupa em casa. Este não é para pendurar

ou montar noutras áreas e também não deve

ser utilizado em áreas comerciais ou indu-

striais.

4. Efeito

Para evitar perigo

• Mantenha o aparelho afastado de água e

de humidade. Especialmente quando o

aparelho está a funcionar a partir da corren-

te da rede.

• Nunca mergulhe o aparelho em água ou

outros líquidos.

• Não introduza quaisquer objectos metálicos

ou de outros materiais no aparelho.

• Nunca abra a caixa do aparelho.

Para evitar perigos de incêndio e

de ferimentos:

• Não bloqueie as ranhuras de ventilação do

aparelho.

• Mantenha o aparelho afastado de objectos

inflamáveis e explosivos.

5. Colocação em funcionamento

Antes de colocar o aparelho em funciona-

mento certifique-se de que o aparelho, cabo

de rede e tomada se encontram em perfeito

estado e que todos os materiais da embala-

gem foram retirados do aparelho.

Utilize o aparelho com pilhas ou com o adap-

tador de rede incluído no volume de forneci-

mento conforme descrito nos pontos 6+7.

9. Addition of aromatic oils

Remove the aroma

sticks from the housing

by simply pulling them

out. Place the cotton

strips in the depression

of the aroma sticks and

add a few drops of aro-

matic oil.

Replace the aroma sticks in the housing. The

sticks are marked with “R” for right and “L”

for left. Use aroma oils sparingly to

reduce/limit residue build-up.

10. Cleaning and care

Clean the device by wiping it with a soft, dry

cloth. Never use cleaning agents or solvents,

these could damage the housing.

11. Storage and Maintenances

• Store the device in a dry, dust-free place.

Note: Before putting the device away, remo-

ve the batteries.

12. Warranty, Repair & Customer

Service

This appliance has a 3-years warranty from

the date of purchase as per our standard

business conditions and proper use and

maintenance.

To prolong the lifespan of your ioniser, follow

the directions given under “Cleaning &

Maintenance".

In case your ioniser fails to function as

expected, it must be given for repairs to a

service centre authorised by the manufacturer

or a qualified technician. For this purpose,

please contact our customer service. The

address is given in the enclosed warranty

card.

13. Disposal

Before disposing of the device, first remove

the batteries. They must not be disposed of

with the domestic waste:

• For this reason, return the batteries to a

disposal collection point provided for this

purpose.

The other device components do not contain

any materials subject to any type of special

disposal regulations at the time the instructi-

ons are compiled (October 2003). Ask your

community authority if the legal situation

should have changed in the meantime.
