Removing ServerProtect
ServerProtect’s three components can be removed either together or separately.
Individual removal is discussed in the following sections.
Removing a Normal Server
There are different removal procedures for each environment
Removing a Normal Server for Windows Server
2003/2000/NT
There are two ways to remove a Normal Server from a Windows Server
2003/2000/NT environment:
To remove a Normal Server remotely for Windows Server 2003/2000/NT:
1. Click a Normal Server from the Management Console.
2. Click Domain > Uninstall ServerProtect from the main menu.
All selected servers will be remotely removed.
To remove a Normal Server locally for Windows Server 2003/2000/NT:
1. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
2. Click the item ServerProtect 5.xx (xx represents the minor version number, that
is, 5.0, 5.35), and then click Remove.
Removing a Normal Server for NetWare
There are two ways to remove a Normal Server from a NetWare environment:
To remove a Normal Server remotely for NetWare:
1. Click a Normal Server from the Management Console.
2. Click Domain > Uninstall ServerProtect from the main menu.
All selected servers will be remotely removed.
To remove a Normal Server locally for NetWare:
1. Press the ESC key on the keyboard then click Yes , to unload ServerProtect
modules on the ServerProtect monitor screen.
