Using the AUX socke t
The A UX ster eo jack allows y ou to connect e xternal players,
such as an MP3 player , and use the Party BT speakers
for playback.
a Connect an external player .
b If not displayed, select AUX mode (AUX) using the “MODE”
button.
c Start playback on the playback devic e.

the AUX socket.
Display modes
BLUE
Indicates Bluetooth mode. This is the rst mode displayed
when the memory car d is not inserted.
CARD
Indicates memory car d mode. This is the rst mode displayed
when the memory car d is inserted.
AUX
Indicates A UX mode. This is the mode shown belo w .
Function of the c ontrol elements
MODE button
By brie fly pr essing this button, display mode switches between
BLUE/( CARD)/ AUX. CARD mode is only displayed when the
memory car d is inserted.
Pressing and holding this button switches the LEDs on and of f
with random light e ff ec ts.
REC button
Press this button to start/ stop microphone rec ording.
Microphone r ecording is only possible with the micr ophone
and memory card inserted.
EQ button
Long press of the EQ-button will toggle through the EQ-modes.
Press this button briey to toggle the micr ophone setting between
ECHO / VOL. The set tings of these f unctions are adjusted via
the volume contr ol.
E-ke y
Press this button briey to switch to the previous tr ack.
Press and hold this button to rewind within the tr ack .
In Bluetooth mode to the beginning of the tr ack.
A-ke y
Press this button to start/ stop a track.
F-ke y
Press this button briey to switch to the next tr ack.
Press and hold this button to fast f orward within the track.
In Bluetooth mode, r eturn to the beginning of the tr ack.
Contr ols & Ports
Risk of hearing loss thr ough high volume
The device c an generate high sound le vels. This may result in
hearing loss if your ears ar e exposed to high sound lev els over
an extended period of time. The higher y ou set the volume, the
more quickly your hearing c an be damaged. Hearing loss may
occur slo wly o ver time.

Do not listen to music or other audio iles f or an extended
period of time at high volumes.
■
Always set the volume at the lo west level where you can
still clearly hear the audio track being played without
causing discom fort.
■
Do not increase the volume onc e y ou have become
accustomed to that sound level.
■
Adjusting the def ault settings for the equalizer can boost
the device ’ s volume le vels.
CAUTION
Risk of fir e or explosion when using non-appro ved char gers
and power adapters

Only use c ompatible power supplies. Please note the
speciications in the technical data.
Risk of multiple injuries fr om slipping, tripping, or falling

Do not expose the device and/ or power adap ter t o
vibrations and/ or an y f orm of impact.
■
Do not drop the device and/ or power adapt er . Do not use
the device/ power adapter if it has been dropped and/ or
is damaged. Have a qualiied service technician check the
device/ power adapter before r estarting it .
■
Always ensure that the power and micr ophone cord is
installed securely .
■
Do not allow the cor ds to knot or kink.
NO TICE
T o avoid potential malfunctions and/ or damage to the device
caused by environmental f ac tors, please note the f ollowing:

The rec ommended humidity f or operating, char ging, and
storing the devic e is between 30 and 7 0 perc ent.
■
The rec ommended ambient temper ature f or operating,
charging, and storing the device is between 5° C and 30° C.
T emperatur es above or below this may adversely affect
the charging capacity and ser vice life o f the devic e and
cause damage to the device.
■
Prot ect the device fr om rapid temper ature luctuations.
Condensation f rom humidity can damage the devic e and
may r esult in danger to the user .
■
Shield the device from direct sunlight ( e. g., in the car )
and do not stor e it near a heat sour ce to pr event the display
and device fr om malfunctionin.
■
K eep the device aw ay from open lames such as candles,
ireplac es and campir es.
■
Do not expose your device to rain or to dripping or
splashing water .
■
Do not use the devic e outdoors during a storm.
■
Should the device bec ome wet, turn it of f immediately .
Ensure that the device and/ or the pow er adapter are
checked b y a qualiied per son bef ore using it again.
■
Use the devic e in a dust-f ree en vironment.
■
The surfac e of the de vice must not be cleaned with
solvents, paint thinners, cleaning agents or other chemical
products. Use instead a sof t , dr y cloth or a soft brush.
■
There ar e no ser viceable or cleanable parts inside the de vice.
■
Do not touch the membr anes of the device .
T o prev ent possible damage to y our device:

Do not charge your device on standar d USB por ts such as
those f ound on desktop or laptop computers.
■
Moisture , dense smoke , and fumes may lead to
malfunctions and/ or damage the de vice ’ s housing.
Quick Guide
Attaching the shoulder str ap
Connect the hooks of the shoulder str ap to the eyelets (A)
on the Party BT . The shoulder str ap is adjustable in length.
➜ Carry the P ar ty BT using only the handle or the shoulder str ap.
The side bars attached to the membr ane are no t carrying
handles.
➜ The membranes must no t be touched.
Charging the devic e
Connect the USB-A charging cable included to a suitable
USB charger and then to the micr o-USB socket of the P arty BT .
The charging LED ligh ts up.
➜ The USB charger is not included.
➜ The USB- A char ging cable is just f or charging.
Connecting to a Bluetooth devic e
a Switch on the Party BT .
b If not displayed, select Bluetooth mode (BL UE) using the
"MODE" button.
c Activate the Bluetooth function of the devic e to be connected
( e.g. smartphone or tablet).
d Selec t "Party BT" fr om the list of Bluetooth devices
displayed.
e If necessary , enter "0000" to conirm the pairing c ode.
Using the microphone
a Connect the microphone included to the MIC1 sock et of
the Party BT .
b Switch on both the Party BT and the microphone.
➜ Note the dif feren t equalizer settings; see "Function of the
contr ol elements” ➜ "EQ button" f or more inf ormation.
Microphone r ecording
➜ Microphone r ecordings can only be made with a memor y c ard
inserted. T hese are stor ed in MP3 format on this.
➜ Press the "REC" button to start r ecording and pr ess it
a second time to stop r ecording.
