Cleaning and Maintenance
Ensure that the power is switched off immediately and leave at least 30 minutes to cool down before
cleaning and storing.
The terracotta lid must have completely cooled down before getting into contact with water. Do not
place the warm lid on a cold surface, because this can damage it by cooling too quickly.
There is no need to clean the terracotta lid after normal use. The terracotta lid is not dishwasher-safe.
Also the other components of the pizza oven are not dishwasher-safe. Baking sheet and spatulas can be
washed with a brush in warm dishwashing water.
Clean the exterior of the device with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Do not use hard brushes,
abrasives, scourers or liquids such as alcohol, petrol or acetone. Dry well after cleaning with a dry cloth.
Under no circumstances immerse the device in water.
Store the device in its original packaging in a dry, cool place. Do not store if it is not completely dry.
Grease the baking sheet slightly if the pizza oven is not used for an extended period of time.
