– Frequently the appliance must be checked for signs of wear
or damage.
Warning: The blanket cannot be used on a waterbed or mechanically
adjustable type of bed such as a bunk or sofa bed. Check to ensure that
the controller and supply cord cannot become trapped in any bed or
bedding. Keep controller outside of the bedding as much is possible.
Secure the blanket through the middle and corners (indicated by dotted
lines).
Warning: Check the appliance frequently for signs of wear or
damage. If there are such signs or if the appliance has been
misused, it must be returned to the manufacturer or dealer for
check prior to any further use.
1. If the mains cable is damaged, it should only be replaced at a
repair workshop approved by the manufacturer, as special tools
are required for the repair.
2. Repairs to electrical appliances must be carried out only by trained
personnel. Improper repair could result in considerable risks for the
user.
3. When the appliance is not in use, the plug should be removed from the
mains and the appliance.
4. Unplug the cord from the mains:
- when malfunction occurs during use
- before cleaning
- after use and for storing
5. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord, if it
malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Ask a (*)
competent qualified electrician to check and repair it.
6. Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent
qualified electrician(*) to avoid any danger. All repairs should be
made by a competent qualified electrician(*).
