4 The use
4.1 Before using the appliance for the first time
Unpack the appliance and different elements and make sure that each part is in a good
condition.
Carefully read the instructions of this manual, respecting recommendations for use and safety.
Keep this document and tell potential users about it.
Before using for the first time, clean the accessories with a soft sponge and a mild dishwashing
detergent. Thoroughly rinse with clean water and dry.
Do not use harsh cleaning products or abrasive sponges.
Caution: the cutting edges of the cones are very sharp. Handle the cones with care. Always hold the
plastic parts.
4.2 Vegetable slicer
Select the cone that corresponds to what you want to do.
Fit the cone holder (5) on the motor unit (4) by turning it to the left.
Place the selected cone in the aperture at the front of the cone
holder. Make sure the cone is fitted properly on the drive shaft.
Place a container under the cone holder to receive the grated or
sliced food. Make sure the container is large enough to avoid
spillage.
Plug the appliance in
Press the On/Off button (3) to make the cone rotate. Keep the
button pressed for continuous processing.
Insert food trough the fed tube (2) and push with the pusher (1).
Use firm ingredients to obtain satisfactory results and avoid any
build-up food in the cone holder.
Cut the food in such a way that it is easier to insert the cone
holder’s feed tube.
To remove the cone: switch the appliance off and unplug it.
Remove the cone from the drive shaft by turning it slightly and
lifting it.
