Twodierentholdersareavailableforscanningslides.Usingtheslidecarrier,largerseriesofslides

canquicklybescannedin.Aslideholderhasbeenprovidedforscanningslidesthatareunsuitable

fortheslidecarrier,suchaspaper-frameslidesornon-standardsizeslides.

3.5.1. Slide feeder

Thesuppliedslidefeedercanbeusedforslidesofdierentthicknesses.Priortousingtheslidecar-

rieritmustrstbeadjustedtothethicknessoftheslidestobescanned.Theslideronthetopofthe

slidefeederoersthreesettinglevels(seeillustration):

1)Topposition:forpaper-frameslidesupto1.0mm.

2)Middleposition:forCDSslidesupto2.3mm.

3)Bottomposition:forslidesupto3.2mm.

Note:

• Weurgentlyadviseyoutoregularlycleantheimageholderandglasssurfaceusinga

 cottonclothoraclean,drybrushwithoutalcohol.Thiswillensurethatyourscanned

 imageswillalwaysbeclear.
